Alex is a Registered Dietitian and communications consultant specializing in marketing, public relations and nutrition communications for food brands, commodities and health promotion organizations.

 

An accomplished leader with more than a decade of experience, she has spearheaded award-winning strategic nutrition communications programs. In 2019, she was honored as an Exceptional Under 35 by the Public Relations Society of America's New York Chapter. As a trusted nutrition communications professional, she's been called upon to act as a reviewer for Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Social Media Practice Paper (2016) and a chapter reviewer of Communicating Nutrition: The Authoritative Guide textbook (2020). She is also sought after by media to provide comment on trending topics and articles on nutrition. 

 

Her experience and expertise in nutrition gives her the unique skills to create multi-channel programs that help clients reach their customers and key target audiences. She designs and activates creative campaigns reaching influencers, building brand awareness, communicating health research and breaking down barriers. She's worked with organizations from berries to beverages to nuts to grains to dairy and everything in between. She always find creative ways to tell a product's important story to others and will roll up her sleeves and put on her boots to get to know more about a food from the root up.
